Great Weekend

Saturday was such a fun and blessed day! My dad, mom, Bridger, and Juniper were all staying in Boise for the weekend and visiting with Jen. Jen was able to get a pass to be out all day to spend time with her family. That evening we all went downtown in Boise to eat dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory. As we were sitting at the table, we realized it was the first time we were all together like that since the accident. In fact, it had been exactly one month since we had sat together and had dinner as a family. It was a wonderful night filled with laughter and fellowship. We felt so blessed to be able to do that once again!

Jen seems so much stronger this week. I hope she enjoyed spending time with family this weekend. We’re hoping it won’t be long before she is released from the hospital. Of course, we want her to get the best care, no matter how long it takes! But I’m sure we’ll all be relieved when she goes home. Her doctors are meeting on Tuesday, and they’ll give her an update on her progress.
