Our "New" Truck

Yesterday we bought a new-to-us truck. We're blessed to now own two fairly new vehicles. I realize it seems a little funny to be buying a gas hog right now, but since it won't be our primary vehicle, it won't matter too much for us. This will be one comfy ride for camping trips and such!

Mercy was a little fussy during her bath time this evening. A warm sleeper and Daddy's shoulder made it all better!

4 Weeks Old

Today our girl is four weeks old, and she has already changed so much! We weighed her today and she is now up to 8 pounds, 4 1/2 ounces. She has outgrown the newborn onesies already. I am so relieved to see her gaining weight steadily after that first week of losing weight.

Mercy has quite the little personality already. She is one picky girl- everything has to be just so, or she lets us know (she's a bit like her mama in that regard)! For example, during her daytime naps she likes the vibration mode on in her bassinet. When it turns off, she lets out a little shout (not a cry, just a shout) to let us know. We turn it back on and she continues sleeping!

She is such a good baby and is almost never fussy. We have her on a really good sleep/feed/awake schedule and we're down to just one middle of the night feeding (yea!). She loves to snuggle, take baths, read stories, and hang out in her swing (most of the time). Every now and then she gives us a huge grin....though we know she isn't smiling on purpose just yet. Still, she has a beautiful smile and we love seeing it!
