Today's update:
Jen is still waking up and talking quite a bit, although as she tires out she tends to be less lucid. She is asking for Juniper a lot, which is excellent because it means her mama instinct has kicked in. She is able to get up and go for short, assisted walks. Bridger mentioned that she has a large blind spot in her left eye. The occupational therapist thought that if it doesn't correct itself on it's own, that they would be able to train her to compensate for it. But pray that the Lord may see fit to heal it! The word from the doctors and therapists is to expect a two month hospital stay, but of course, we're all praying that it will be shorter. My mom got to talk to Jen on the phone today, and she mentioned that she doesn't want to go hunting next weekend.....she thinks she'd better rest. Bless her heart!
Bridger is sounding better and better every day. He sounds so optimistic and peaceful. He was headed back to Rupert tonight to spend time with Junie and to be with her at her appointment tomorrow. Please continue to pray for him!
According to my dad, Junie has started to coo and chatter again! We are grateful that she is starting to seem like herself again. Still, my dad says that she doesn't like to be left alone at all, and she is still having trouble sleeping at night. Please pray that Junie may have peace and rest.
For those of you who are checking this blog, feel free to leave your thoughts and encouragements in the comments section. I'll be sure to pass them on to Bridger, Jen, and Junie. God bless!

Susan and I (Butch)are so happy to hear that jen and the baby are doing well. Our prayers are surely being answered. We will continue to pray for a quick recovery for both of you.
May God continue to watch over the whole family during this time.

Our prayers continue daily. Please tell your mom and dad that if Marty, me or the girls can help with Junie in any way, we certainly will. Our Shelby is in school but she is great with babies if anyone needs a break over the weekend.
We love you all. Sherri
Thank you for your thoughts, prayers, and offers of help. I'll pass these on to our family. God bless!
