2 weeks old

Mercy is 2 weeks old today! She is doing so well. We are relieved that the jaundice is now gone and she is back to her birth weight (and gaining!). Mercy makes some of the sweetest noises lately. However, she also displays her discontent and anger with some serious huffing and puffing. Tyson says it comes from me....and I think he's probably right! Mercy was trying to lift her head this morning on her play mat. She pushed up with her arms and held her held for a few seconds before lowering it. She is one tough cookie! And doesn't she make the cutest, funniest faces?

A Couple of Firsts

Today was Mercy's first time in her bouncer. She tolerated it for about five minutes before she was ready to be held again. We certainly don't mind snuggle time with her!
She liked staring at the toys. What a cutie pie (if I do say so myself)!

She also had her first sponge bath today. She didn't even cry!

The arrival of our beautiful daughter, Mercy Lee! She was born on Saturday, Sept. 13th at 9:47 a.m. Even though she came three weeks early, she is healthy and perfect!

Mom and Baby are both great! We'll likely be home by Sunday afternoon. More to come later...

37 Week Update

I started my weekly appointments today. We're making progress! I won't go into the details here, since I know a few guys read this blog, but there are some signs that we're getting much closer to the delivery of our girl! My doctor thinks that we have two more weeks at the most before her arrival, and it could possibly be sooner. We'll see! I'm sure she'll come when she is good and ready.

36 Weeks

I don't really have anything new to report....now we're just waiting! One month to go, and then she gets the boot!
